About
Based in Brentwood, Tosh's Karate Academy teaches traditional Okinawan Shobayashi Shorin-ryu karate and self-defense for students of all ages. We bring over 60 years of martial arts experience to every class, with instructor Dan Tosh guiding training at our Brentwood academy.
Families across Brentwood and Contra Costa County train with us because we keep lessons affordable, so parents and children can all study together. Parents tell us they appreciate how the training builds confidence, discipline and character in their kids, and how we watch them grow into fine young men.
We welcome students of every age and experience level, from first-time beginners to those returning to the mat.
