About
At Sumo's Family Jiu Jitsu, we help families and individuals across Foster City and the Peninsula learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu in a welcoming, supportive setting. Our classes serve all ages, from kids to adults, and we welcome complete beginners as well as students with prior training.
Our instructors break down each technique, explain why it works, and adjust their approach to meet each student where they are. We take pride in a friendly, respectful community where students feel comfortable being challenged and having fun while they learn.
Whether you're trying martial arts for the first time or looking for a family activity you can share, we'd love to have you on the mats.
