About
Whether you're carrying anxiety in your body or looking for steadier support through a life transition, Sam Balka - Rooted Rites Somatic Practice offers somatic counseling tailored to you. Sam works with the nervous system, helping clients notice how their bodies hold stress and gently build resilience, with work that often takes place in nature.
Clients describe a calm, grounded, and down-to-earth presence, and sessions that feel safe from the very first conversation. Sam's approach is playful and creative, encouraging a curious and kind relationship to yourself and to the patterns and stories that shape your days.
Some clients have also worked with Sam over many years, including on rites of passage for young people in Sonoma County and beyond.
Serving Sebastopol and the North Bay, Sam invites you to reach out to begin a conversation about what your body and life are ready for, through our website.
