About
At Fremont Aikido, we help Fremont and the wider East Bay learn a martial art built on control, balance and redirecting energy rather than overpowering an opponent. Our training is welcoming and respectful, rooted in tradition, and pushes students to grow without ever feeling intimidating.
We offer classes for both adults and kids, where young students build self-defense skills, discipline, respect and confidence alongside friendship. Our instructors are patient, attentive and kind, closely following each student's progress and encouraging them to trust themselves.
Many of our students find that the calm, centered mindset they develop on the mat carries over into how they handle challenges and interact with others in daily life. We are a non-profit dojo, and our teachers are volunteers who are truly there out of passion for teaching.
