About
Bloodhound owners and adopters across Burlingame and the Peninsula turn to West Coast Bloodhound Rescue for rescue and adoption of bloodhounds that need a loving second home. We are an animal shelter dedicated to finding bloodhounds in need and placing them with families who are ready to give them the care, exercise and companionship this breed deserves.
Each dog in our program is looked after with patience and attention, so that the people who adopt from us know what to expect and feel prepared for life with their new companion. Our work is guided by a genuine love for these gentle, loyal hounds, and we take the time to match every dog with the right home.
Whether you are thinking about adopting, want to learn more about the breed, or have questions about getting involved, we are happy to help.
