About
Pleasant Hill and East Bay pet owners turn to Veterinary Emergency Group for urgent and emergency animal care that gives worried families quick, clear answers when their pet needs help fast. We're an emergency animal hospital serving Pleasant Hill and communities across Contra Costa County, caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs and other pets when a problem can't wait for a regular appointment.
Our team is known for handling every patient gently and with real consideration, including pets who arrive frightened or in pain. We take time to explain what's happening and what each step of treatment involves, so you can make decisions with confidence during a stressful moment.
When a cat has swallowed something it shouldn't, we act quickly and work to get it resolved, reassuring you throughout. Families who've trusted us with a sick family member tell us they felt supported from the first call through to discharge.
