About
Pleasant Hill pet owners and families across Contra Costa County turn to Alternatives for Animals for integrative veterinary care that supports animals at every stage of life, from young kittens to senior dogs facing mobility challenges. Our practice combines conventional veterinary medicine with holistic options such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, biofeedback, and land-based rehabilitation exercises.
We have helped dogs regain movement after serious spinal conditions, and we guide families through the day-to-day care that disabled pets need at home. Many of our clients tell us how calm and comfortable their pets feel in our hands, and we take the time to explain every step so you can feel confident in each decision.
Our gentle, thorough approach extends to wellness care, and we are glad to offer medications and treatments that suit each animal's needs.
