About
Berkeley pet owners turn to University Vet Hospital for veterinary care that keeps dogs and cats calm and comfortable from the first visit onward. We make every appointment a positive experience, with treats and gentle handling for each patient, and our team takes the time to answer every question about puppies, senior pets and how animals in the same household get along.
Our veterinarians offer thorough, straightforward medical advice, whether we're treating an urgent wound on the same morning or managing a chronic condition over many years. Our technicians and front desk staff are known for their warmth and helpfulness, and we work closely with clients to find solutions that fit their pets' needs and their budgets.
Pet owners across Berkeley and the East Bay trust us for both routine checkups and complex feline and canine care. We're always happy to go the extra mile, from arranging same-day medication pickups to following up with results when our doctors are off the clock.
