About
Type Five brings custom home building, architectural design and ADU construction to Berkeley and the East Bay. Their modular, menu-style design options give homeowners clear cost and timeline expectations, while the team also builds fully custom projects.
Clients can choose how hands-on they want to be, from touring units in person to reviewing visualizations and making design changes along the way. Many of their projects are backyard ADUs designed to serve as home offices, guest suites or multi-use spaces, fitting even small lots without sacrificing the garden.
Homeowners consistently describe the process as efficient and transparent, with strong communication and no surprises from design through construction.
We would love to talk through your project, so visit our website to get started.
