About
Pleasant Hill Japan Karate-Do is a martial arts school in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa County, focused on traditional karate training for children and adults. We teach karate in the classical Japanese style, balancing discipline and respect with classes that keep students engaged and motivated.
Our instructors take the time to correct posture and technique, giving honest, constructive feedback so every student can keep growing. We build more than physical strength: we help students develop focus, perseverance and self-confidence that carry over into school and everyday life.
Many of our students are young, and we're proud to see them grow into responsible, supportive members of the dojo community. Families across Pleasant Hill and the East Bay have trained with us for years, and we're glad to welcome new students at any stage.
Visit our website to learn more about our classes, or stop by the dojo to see a session for yourself.
