About
Based in Newark, One World Jiu Jitsu teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts classes for students across Alameda County and the wider East Bay. Our instructors, Professor Mike and our head black belts, guide students through fundamental techniques with careful attention to detail and real understanding of the principles behind each move.
Our classes follow a balanced structure, with warm-ups, situational drilling, technique time, sparring and open mats, so training stays engaging from one session to the next. We welcome students of all levels, including adults and kids, and our open mat sessions bring in training partners from schools throughout the Bay Area.
Our atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and welcoming, and many students tell us it keeps them coming back to class. Visitors and traveling students are welcome to drop in and train with us.
