At Michael Ceely, LMFT - Psychotherapist - Counseling for Men, we help men across Berkeley and the East Bay step out of old masculinity myths and build more authentic, vulnerable ways of living. We offer individual counseling and relationship support, with a focus on helping men find the confidence to pursue the lives they want.
Our work draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and we bring extra insight for athletes, entrepreneurs and high achievers thanks to our background in sports psychology and our own experience as athletes. We are warm, patient and compassionate, offering steady, grounded support while still pushing clients gently toward the goals they have set for themselves.
Our practice also supports men's mental health more broadly, including the founding of the Men's Therapy Directory, a resource for men seeking therapists who specialize in men's individual and group work.
