About
For dog training in Oakland, McClain's Balanced Dog Training is here to help. We offer one-on-one training sessions built around each dog's needs, so you can focus on the areas that matter most to you, whether that's house manners, basic commands or potty training.
Our approach is gentle and rewards-based, and we take time to help owners understand why their dog behaves the way it does. We've helped puppies pick up basic commands and housetraining quickly, and we've worked with older dogs on anxiety and leash reactivity, showing that dogs of every age can learn.
Each session is tailored, and we follow up by email with check-ins and reminders so the progress keeps going between lessons. We serve dog owners across Oakland and the East Bay, and we'd love to help your dog too.
