About
At Citizen Canine, we help Oakland dog owners and families across the East Bay keep their dogs happy, safe and well cared for, whether for a day of play, a training session or a longer stay. Our training, daycare and boarding services are designed to work together, so each dog follows a routine that suits its personality, from shy pups who need extra patience to social dogs who love to play.
Our staff pays close attention to each dog's needs, including daily medication when it's required, and we keep owners informed with proactive, helpful communication. Many of our clients have trusted us for years, returning for both short and extended stays.
We also make dog time fun, with extra fetch sessions, special treats and seasonal activities that keep tails wagging. Dog owners from across the Bay Area have chosen us after searching widely, and we're proud to earn that trust every day.
