Strength, confidence, and self-defense skills for kids and adults: that's what we offer at Karate & Fitness USA. We're a martial arts school in Lafayette, serving families across Lafayette and Contra Costa County who want their children to learn how to protect themselves.
Our classes mix kata, sparring, basics, fitness, and games, so students build strength and stamina along the way. We teach mostly Shito-ryu, and students also learn other styles such as Ryuei-ryu and Shotokan.
Sensei Tom brings experience teaching students of all ages, and his disciplined, fun approach keeps kids eager to come back to class. Our advanced students are friendly and helpful, which makes the dojo welcoming for newcomers and seasoned practitioners alike.
