About
John Porter CMT is a massage therapy practice in Downtown Oakland focused on deep tissue and therapeutic bodywork. We tailor each session to what your body needs that day, mixing techniques and adjusting pressure as we go, so you always know what to expect.
Our approach is attentive and methodical, with careful evaluation of your pain and range of motion before we begin. Many of our clients have been coming back for years, and we're proud of the relaxed, renewed feeling that lasts well beyond the table.
We also offer hot stone massage for those who want something deeply soothing. Serving Oakland and the wider East Bay, we'd love to help you ease sore muscles and stubborn knots.
