About
Hopalong Foster Program at Marin Humane brings foster-based animal rescue and adoption to Oakland and the East Bay. Our team cares for every animal in a loving foster home, giving each dog and puppy the individual attention it needs before it finds a family.
We run mobile adoption events that bring our dogs into the community, so families can meet them in person. We take time to answer questions and share everything we know about each animal, so you can make a confident choice.
Our foster families are known for their nurturing care, and many of our puppies were hand-raised from very young ages. We also help shelters across the region during this animal crisis, and we welcome new volunteers who love cats and dogs.
