At Gordy Steil LMFT, we help families and students in Berkeley and across the East Bay with personal counseling and college planning support. We work with students and families in a warm, encouraging way, helping young people stay organized, meet their goals and build confidence.
Our approach combines in-person and virtual sessions, so we can keep the process flexible and easy to fit into busy schedules. We take a practical approach to the college application process, breaking essays and tasks into clear steps so the work feels manageable and even enjoyable.
Many of the families we serve come to us for support with social anxiety, ADHD-related executive functioning and the everyday stresses of growing up. We create a supportive, LGBTQ+ friendly space where every client can feel respected and understood.
