About
Based in Martinez, Family Martial Arts of America offers karate and self-defense training for students across Contra Costa County and the East Bay. Our dojo focuses on sound technique and strong body mechanics, taught with patience and care for each student.
We welcome children and families, and many parents tell us they've seen real gains in focus, discipline and listening skills. Our students also build confidence and leadership, and we work to keep our training environment encouraging and enjoyable.
We're proud to be known for knowledgeable instruction and a focus on growth over simply advancing belts.
