Barkeley K-9 University

Castro Valley and East Bay dog owners turn to Barkeley K-9 University for dog training that builds real communication between you and your dog. Owners across Castro Valley and the surrounding East Bay come to us for board-and-train programs and private lessons that teach both the dog and the handler, so the results last well beyond the session.

Our approach is positive and patient, focused on how dogs naturally learn, and we take the time to explain each step so you feel confident working with your dog at home. Many of our clients come to us for leash manners, reliable recall and help with challenging behavior, and we tailor every program to the dog in front of us.

Families who have trained with us often tell us that walks have become enjoyable again and that they can take their dogs to more places with confidence.
