About
Athens Dog Training is a dog training business in Castro Valley focused on helping dogs and their owners build good manners and confidence, from puppy basics to advanced obedience. We offer a mix of group and private classes, and our in-home lessons are a great fit for dogs that need extra support.
Our trainers are patient, knowledgeable and kind to every dog and owner, and we take the time to explain each technique so you feel confident practicing at home. We've helped newly adopted and rescue dogs settle into their homes, work through shyness and behavioral challenges, and even learn to live safely alongside cats.
Whether you're preparing for a Canine Good Citizen test or simply want a calmer companion, we tailor our approach to your dog's personality and your goals. Families across Castro Valley and the East Bay trust us to bring out the best in their dogs.
