About
Balanced Bay Dog Training brings patient, progressive dog training to Santa Fe in Oakland and the families who rely on it across Alameda County. We build every program on solid fundamentals, so each new skill rests on a foundation that holds up in real life.
Our approach is to find the underlying cause behind a behavior, whether it's pulling on walks, reactivity toward other dogs, or anxiety, and then address that root issue directly. We explain what your dog is experiencing and why, and we send home clear, easy steps and short instructional videos so practice continues between sessions.
Whether you're bringing home a rescue, preparing a family dog for a new baby, or refining commands with an experienced companion, we meet you where you are and keep you supported as you go.
