A Cut Above Grooming Salon

Pet owners across Castro Valley and the East Bay turn to A Cut Above Grooming Salon for professional grooming that keeps coats healthy and styles looking great between visits. Our team works with all kinds of coats, from poodle mixes to Australian Shepherds and standard poodles, and we take the time to understand what each dog needs.

Many of our clients bring in nervous or anxious dogs, and we focus on keeping them calm, comfortable and happy from start to finish. We also know that some coats need extra care after time spent outdoors, so we work patiently to remove matting while protecting the coat.

Our approach is careful and never over-groomed, so your dog leaves looking like themselves, only polished. Owners tell us their dogs come home soft, clean and noticeably compliment-worthy.

Customers from across the Peninsula and beyond have made the drive to see us, and we're proud to be part of the Castro Valley community.
