Aikido of Berkeley is a martial arts school in Berkeley, Alameda County, focused on teaching Aikido as a path of physical skill, spiritual growth and community. Our dojo welcomes students from total beginners to advanced black belts, and we are proud of the warm, diverse group of people who train with us each week.
Under the guidance of Kayla Feder Sensei, we offer training that balances tradition with flexibility, combining strong technique with a kind, supportive atmosphere. Our students often tell us they feel at home from the moment they walk through the door, and our practice helps everyone connect mind and body.
We look after one another, from checking in on members who are sick to sharing potlucks and cleaning the dojo together.
