Video Game Counseling

Based in Santa Clara, Video Game Counseling provides individual counseling, family counseling and psychotherapy for young people and adults across Santa Clara County and the wider South Bay. We use video games as the setting for our sessions, so clients can ease into difficult conversations and work through issues like anxiety, depression and social anxiety in a space that feels familiar.

Our approach is down-to-earth and engaging, and we make it a priority for every client to feel safe being open and digging into the issues that matter most to them. We also help people address concerns around gaming itself, including video game addiction, and bring awareness of today's technology-driven world into each session.

We are LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space, and we work with clients on cultural identity and the issues facing communities like the Asian American community. We also offer training for counselors and agencies that want to bring video gaming into their own clinical work.
