About
Based in Livermore, Training For Trust LLC provides dog training for owners across Livermore and the East Bay. Our approach looks at the whole dog, not just obedience, combining behavioral modification with an understanding of each dog's emotional needs and drives.
We guide new puppy owners from the start, helping them build routines for potty training, crate time, rest, play and basic training before the puppy comes home. We also work with rescue dogs whose past is unknown, teaching families how to channel a dog's drives so it settles well into everyday life, including the whole household.
Nutrition is part of our guidance, since we believe a dog's health and behavior are closely connected. Our training methods are humane, clear and consistent, and we explain the reasoning behind each step so you feel confident rather than guessing.
