TotalCare Veterinary & Surgical Center

For veterinary and surgical care in South San Francisco, TotalCare Veterinary & Surgical Center is here to help. We are a smaller animal hospital serving pet families across South San Francisco and San Mateo County, and we pride ourselves on a warm, friendly team from the front desk to the exam room.

Our veterinarians are known for being careful, clear, and genuinely invested in every patient, and they take the time to explain what is going on with your pet. We handle everything from routine check-ups to surgical procedures, and our surgical team has helped dogs recover from complex issues like hard-to-find foxtail injuries.

Many of our clients have been with us for years, trusting us with their senior pets because we always review the cost of care openly and recommend only the services that are truly needed. Our office and technical staff are responsive and helpful, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.
