Throw Me a Bone

Throw Me a Bone is a dog day care and dog walking business in La Honda focused on giving dogs daily exercise, play and companionship in a small, carefully managed pack. We take pride in treating every dog in our care like family, and our clients tell us they notice the difference when their dogs come home tired, clean and happy.

Our days are built around outdoor adventures, socializing with the other dogs and plenty of attention, with updates and photos shared so you can see how your dog is doing. We keep a close eye on each dog's health and behavior, from noticing when a nail needs trimming to tending to dry noses and sharing any changes we see.

Our dog care is grounded in healthy routines and professional standards, and our caretakers are certified in pet first aid and pack management. We are proud to serve dog owners across La Honda and San Mateo County who want reliable, loving care for their best friend.
