About
Thornhill Pet Hospital brings thorough, humane veterinary care for dogs, cats and other companion animals to Merriwood in Oakland and the families across Alameda County who rely on us. We have been caring for pets in this community for many years, and many of our clients have followed their animals through every stage of life, from puppyhood to their senior years.
Our approach is patient and clear: we take time to find the root of a problem, explain our options and the costs upfront, and recommend only the care your pet truly needs. We are known for our careful diagnostics, our gentle handling of anxious animals, and thoughtful post-surgical instructions, with follow-up checks to see how each patient is recovering.
Our front desk team is as warm and knowledgeable as our clinicians, and we treat every animal as part of the family.
