About
Based in San Rafael, The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge provides dog day care and overnight boarding for pet owners across Marin County. Our indoor play areas give dogs room to run, socialize and burn off energy while their people are at work or traveling.
Many of our families come to us after a stressful experience elsewhere, and a secure facility is something we take seriously every day. Our team is patient and affectionate with every dog, including the big, enthusiastic breeds that need extra attention.
Owners tell us they feel at ease knowing their dogs are in caring, warm hands, and that is the standard we hold ourselves to. We are proud to be a welcoming part of the San Rafael community and of the Marin pet-owning families we serve.
Book online through our website or call in to reserve a spot for your dog.
