About
Rescue, rehabilitation, and education: that's what we offer at The Marine Mammal Center, a non-profit hospital in Sausalito caring for seals, sea lions, and other marine wildlife along the Marin coast. Our team rescues and treats sick and injured animals, working toward the day each one can return safely to the ocean.
Visitors can take in the rehabilitation process from quiet viewing areas designed so our patients stay wild, with knowledgeable docents sharing what is happening at each stage of care. Free self-guided visits are available, and paid guided tours offer a closer look at more of our facilities.
Our staff and volunteers are passionate about each animal they treat and happy to share their work with families across Sausalito and Marin County.
Support our mission by visiting us in Sausalito or contributing through our website.
