The Mallory Gaston Foundation "A-Lab" Powered by Body Mechanix is a community-focused gym in Sausalito, Marin County, focused on strength, conditioning and building the next generation of fitness trainers. We offer a mix of instructed group classes, including strength and conditioning, boxing, cardio and yoga, along with one-on-one personal training and a self-guided open lab with 24-hour access for members who prefer to train on their own schedule.
Our internationally certified trainers work with people of all ages and experience levels, from first-time exercisers to seasoned athletes, and we make sure everyone feels welcomed and supported. Our team is a close-knit community that encourages members to keep pushing forward, and many of our members have trained with us for years.
As a nonprofit, we run an apprenticeship lab through which local young people earn ISSA certification and step into careers as fitness trainers, so every membership helps develop diverse trainers for the industry. Members from across Sausalito and Marin County find our space a welcoming, supportive place to get stronger.
