The Fish Barn

For aquarium supplies, fish, and expert advice in Orinda, The Fish Barn is here to help. We are a tropical fish store serving hobbyists across Orinda and Contra Costa County, from first-time tank owners to experienced aquascapers.

Our team takes the time to explain everything, from choosing your first tank and filter to troubleshooting algae, water quality, and fish health. We carry healthy livestock, a wide selection of aquatic plants, and carefully chosen hardscape and equipment, including a good range of nano species.

Customers often tell us we're as patient with beginners as we are with seasoned keepers, and that's exactly how we want it.

Stop by the shop to talk through your plans and find what your aquarium needs.
