About
In the heart of Fairview Park, The Better Place For Healing offers holistic, hands-on care for people across Oakland and Alameda County. Our practice brings together acupuncture, massage therapy and lymphatic drainage, so each session can be tailored to the areas where your body needs attention.
We take a holistic, integrative approach, and when it helps, we blend in Chinese massage techniques alongside other modalities. Many clients come to us for tightness and pain after injury or surgery, including post-mastectomy lymphatic drainage and scar care, as well as knee, hip and heel strain.
We also offer skin treatments such as plasma pen fibroblast work for fine lines around the eyes. Our practitioner combines careful assessment with strong technique, identifying exactly where the body is holding tension and working on it directly, while taking the time to explain what is happening and how to support your lymphatic system at home.
We're warm, unhurried and glad to help you feel more at ease in your body.
