About
Based in San Lorenzo, Taqueria El Cohete 2 serves Mexican favorites for families and neighbors across the East Bay. We cut our produce fresh and cook your food in front of you, so every order comes out hot, flavorful and ready quickly.
Our handmade tortillas are the heart of our tacos, which feature carne asada, lengua, al pastor and suadero. Beyond tacos, we also offer burritos, carne asada fries, nachos, sandwiches, burgers and breakfast, with weekend menudo for those who want something special.
Many guests tell us they appreciate the personal touch, from a willingness to customize a dish to the friendly conversation shared at our family-style tables. Whether you're grabbing something for takeout or settling in at one of our few tables, we'd love to feed you.
