About
Quality tacos, quick service, and a friendly crew: that's what we offer at Tacos El Grullo ( Taco Truck ). We're a Mexican taco truck tucked into an industrial corner of Oak Tree in Oakland, serving neighbors across Oakland and the East Bay.
Our al pastor is a regular favorite, with a great sear, rich flavor, and a hint of pineapple sweetness that pairs well with our house salsa. We also serve carne asada, lengua, and burritos, and many guests tell us they keep coming back for the consistent, fresh food we prepare every day.
Our crew is known for making everyone feel welcome, and plenty of our guests have become regulars who stop by several times a week. We're a low-key spot, so you can easily find us parked on the corner of the lot, and our team works quickly even during busy weekend nights.
Stop by the truck to try our tacos for yourself.
