About
Sonoma County Animal Services is an animal shelter in Santa Rosa focused on finding loving homes for dogs, cats and other animals across Sonoma County. We care for every animal that comes through our doors, with vaccinations kept current and medical care provided before adoption, so each pet is ready for its new family.
Our adoption team works to match animals with the right homes, and we stand behind the placement, offering to take an animal back if the fit isn't working out. Families who have adopted from us tell us they appreciate how well their new pets were looked after, and we take real pride in that.
Our work is shaped by the many people across Santa Rosa and the rest of Sonoma County who open their homes to a shelter animal.
Book through our website to see who is available, or stop by to meet them in person.
