About
Whether you need a patient instructor for a nervous first-time rider or a trainer to sharpen your skills for competition, SL Barrel Horses offers horse training and lessons tailored to you. We're a horse training and riding facility in Gilroy, serving riders and horse owners across Santa Clara County and the wider South Bay.
Our work covers training, riding lessons and horse bodywork, and we welcome both children and adults whether their goals are competitive or simply learning to ride for fun. Many of our riders come to us after losing confidence, and we take the time to understand each person's limits, building their skills step by step with a clear plan.
We also support young riders at gymkhana shows, helping them feel prepared and comfortable in the arena. Our barn, arena and horses are well cared for, and every lesson is designed to be both fun and informative.
