About
Based in Richmond, Shigoto Ya Inc provides custom cabinetry and shoji screens for homeowners across Richmond and the East Bay. We build custom cabinets for kitchens and other spaces, along with custom shoji screens fitted to the windows of each home.
We also design and build custom furniture, such as beds with built-in storage sized to a particular alcove. Our work is precise and carefully finished, and we take pride in using real wood and choosing the right material for each project.
We listen closely to our clients' ideas, refine them, and deliver pieces that fit tight spaces seamlessly. We're a local workshop, and we're happy to talk through a project with you.
Stop by and say hello, or reach out to start planning your next build.
