At ryn mulhern, LMFT — Queer & Trans-Affirming Therapy, we help queer and trans people in Oakland and across the East Bay feel seen, safe and supported as they work through difficult experiences. We offer individual therapy in a space that is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safespace, with a warm, curious approach to the things that matter most to you.
Many of our clients come to us with sensitive, shameful or traumatic material, and we aim to be a soft landing where those conversations can unfold at your pace. Our work is engaged, collaborative and kind, and clients often leave with practical tools they can return to long after a session ends.
Over time, many people find that therapy helps them relate more clearly to themselves and to the people around them, both personally and professionally. We are an LGBTQ+ owned practice based in Pill Hill, Oakland, and we serve clients throughout Alameda County and the wider East Bay.
