About
Looking for landscaping in Oakland's Old City neighborhood? Root Volume Cooperative offers thoughtful landscape design and build for homes across Oakland and Alameda County.
We work from the first estimate through a detailed plan and architectural layout, so every homeowner knows what to expect before a shovel hits the ground. Our services include front and backyard landscaping, decking, stairs, hardscape and stone walls, and we also build custom features such as steel planters and patio seating areas.
We take the time to balance how a space will be used day to day with the look you want, and we're happy to suggest native, drought-tolerant plants that fit your garden and your budget. Our crews are a small, communicative team that keeps you informed on cost and schedule and stays creative when unexpected conditions come up during a project.
Homeowners in Old City and across the East Bay trust us to turn a yard into a space they'll enjoy for years.
To start your project, call or stop by and we'll talk through your ideas.
