About
Families across Richmond and the East Bay turn to Rock Renshinkan Karatedo for martial arts training that builds confidence, discipline and independence in students of all ages. We teach karate with a structured, supportive approach that balances hard work with real fun, so kids stay motivated and eager to reach their next goal.
Our instructors are patient and encouraging, yet firm when it counts, and we emphasize character and effort alongside technique. Students who join with no prior experience quickly find their footing, and many of our families say the skills they gain go well beyond the dojo.
We keep parents closely informed about their child's progress, and our digital progress tracking board helps students see how far they have come. Our welcoming community is a big part of what makes training here special, both for the kids and for the families who come to know one another.
