Richmond Star Smog

Whether you need a quick smog certificate or a clear explanation of what your car needs next, Richmond Star Smog offers smog inspections tailored to you. Our smog check station serves drivers across Richmond and Contra Costa County, and we work to keep the process efficient, so most customers are back on the road in about 20 minutes.

Our team is polite, respectful and knowledgeable, and we take the time to point out other items on your vehicle that may need attention. We keep our pricing fair, and we're glad to let you know about any coupons available on our website that may apply to your vehicle.

If your car doesn't pass the first time, we'll explain what to fix so you can pass on the next visit. We're happy to help you with your registration steps, including pointing you to the nearest kiosk.

Visit our website to see current coupons, or stop by and let our friendly team get you through your smog check.
