About
Retraining The Village is a halfway house and addiction treatment center in East Palo Alto focused on giving people a stable foundation as they rebuild their lives. We are a Black-owned organization serving East Palo Alto and the wider San Mateo County community.
Our residential program is designed to be more than a typical shelter, helping residents get on their feet so they feel empowered to pursue their goals. We provide a supportive environment where people can regain stability, confidence and a sense of purpose after some of the toughest times in their lives.
Our work is rooted in community, with a heart for helping people in underserved and impoverished neighborhoods rebuild with dignity.
