About
Based in the Mission, RareField Design/ Build creates and builds outdoor spaces for homeowners across San Francisco and the surrounding area. We design and construct backyards and front gardens, including decks, paths, seating, lighting, irrigation and drainage, and of course the plantings.
Our work often begins with turning a difficult site, such as a steep San Francisco yard, into a space that is easy to use and enjoy every day. Many of our clients come to us after an earlier design didn't feel right, and we take time to understand how they want to live with their outdoor space before we draw anything up.
We stay involved after construction with regular maintenance visits and updates, so the gardens we build keep looking their best over the years.
