About
Gilroy drivers and families across the South Bay turn to Preferred Automotive for transmission work and general auto repair that keeps vehicles running reliably for the long haul. The shop handles transmission diagnostics and repairs, including transmission radiators, sensors and fluid service, along with brake service, tire replacement and scheduled maintenance.
Customers appreciate how quickly the team pinpoints the root cause of a problem, from electronic steering components and wheel bearings to sensor faults, and how efficiently repairs get done. The team is known for friendly, knowledgeable and professional service, and for working on a wide range of makes, including BMWs, which many local shops are not equipped to handle.
Pricing is fair and often favorable compared with dealership service departments, and the team offers transportation for drop-off visits when needed.
