About
At Polk Street Animal Hospital, we help Russian Hill pets and their families with thoughtful, unhurried veterinary care. We provide general wellness visits and checkups, and we also manage ongoing conditions such as heart disease and autoimmune disorders, with careful follow-up after each visit.
Our veterinarians take the time to listen closely, answer every question, and explain their recommendations clearly. Our team is known for being gentle with anxious animals, including dogs who have had difficult visits elsewhere.
We also help with practical things like sending prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice to keep medication costs down. We serve pet owners across Russian Hill and the rest of San Francisco who want a clinic that treats their animals like family.
