About
Petaluma Equine is an equine veterinary practice in Petaluma focused on thorough lameness evaluation and hospital care for horses. We are a team of veterinarians who come out to farms and barns across Petaluma and Sonoma County, and our hospital is here for horses that need overnight care, imaging and surgery.
Our doctors take the time to examine each horse thoroughly, explain the findings clearly and walk you through the options before any decisions are made. We can offer ultrasound and radiographs, and we work closely with farriers on shoeing plans when a horse's feet are part of the problem.
Many owners tell us they no longer have to haul their horses to Davis for surgery, and we are glad to keep that care close to home for the East Bay and North Bay horse community. Whether your horse needs a same-day look at a lameness or a planned rehab program, we would be glad to help.
