Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (formerly Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley)

Caring for injured wildlife, rescuing orphaned animals, and guiding good-hearted neighbors through the next steps: that's what we offer at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. We've long been a trusted place for wild animals across San Jose and Santa Clara County, and our team is known for being friendly, helpful and genuinely passionate about every patient that comes through our doors.

Many of the people who bring us an animal find our staff quick to respond and happy to explain what comes next, even when the news is hard. We treat orphaned baby birds, mammals hurt by traps or cats, and other wildlife with the same care, and we keep families informed as each animal recovers.

When a patient is ready, we release it back to the wild, and we're glad to share updates along the way.

If you've found a wild animal in need, please call us or stop by, and our team will help you decide the right next step.
