About
Palo Alto and nearby Peninsula families turn to Palo Alto Animal Services for adoptions and animal care that set new pet owners up for success. We make sure every adoption is handled with care, from getting a cat settled in to keeping track of vaccinations.
Our staff are known for being helpful, well-informed and genuinely excited for every new family, and we send adopters home with practical support for bringing a pet into their household. We also work with local chicken keepers, checking homes and helping to place birds that need a good place to go.
Our team takes the responsibility of finding the right home seriously, and we're proud of the trust our community places in us. Whether you're looking to adopt or need guidance on caring for your animals, we'd love to help.
